The Perfect Shot Week 9

  This week the team went out to local neighborhoods and schools to ask parents/ children to participate in our study. A total of 10 children were recorded and added to our excel spread sheet. Additionally, a more accurate Velocity profile was created for each of the children.

The data above from rows 15 to 24 were added, a wide variety of ages were gathered to add to each age group.

The data depicted above is a continuation of the data gathered from the previous photo. It depicts the 3rd throw and the new velocity profile based of the mean data of each throw.

The team was notified that our budget was approved and will be ready for pick up during week 10. Additionally the team is going to complete a 3-D printed mock up within the next 24 hours that will be a scaled down version of our design. This will be used to find stress points in our design and ensure our design will work prior to a full scale attempt. The Solidworks file will be uploaded in the week to come.
